DBGB Kitchen & Bar Sausage Slam with Beers by Bronx Brewery

DBGB Kitchen & Bar slams link-lovers with a not to be missed sausage extravaganza!

This family-style dinner will feature House-Made Signature Sausages washed down with craft beers from NYC’s own Bronx Brewery.

Start with an Early Spring Salad with Frisée, Slow-Cooked Egg and Lemon Vinaigrette and a Sweet Garlic & Potato Soup. Then chow down on mounds of sensational sausage including our brand new Normande, stuffed with pork, apples  nd beer; and the Hamburg, filled with pork and red wine braised cabbage. Also included are DBGB classics such as the Thai, with pork, green papaya, lemongrass and red curry; and the Beaujolaise, made of pork, mushrooms and bacon on a bed of lentils du puy. Finish the night with the sweet and savory Rhubarb Tart with House-Made Ricotta Ice Cream.

Bronx Brewery Head Brewer, Damian Brown, and General Manager, Chris Gallant, join us for the night to pour bottomless pints of an exciting new release: the Bronx Belgian Pale Ale, a fruity, spicy, and earthy straw-colored Belgian Pale Ale. Also on tap will be their Bronx Black Pale Ale and signature amber, American-style Bronx Pale Ale.

Drink:
BEERS FROM THE BRONX BREWERY, including
:

The Bronx Pale Ale | ABV: 6.3% | IBU: 50 | SRM: 10 | OG: 1.064 | FG: 1.016
This deep amber, American-style pale ale is brewed with five different barley malts, generous additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, and a unique strain of yeast. The British, German and American malts used provide a complex blend of caramel, biscuit, and nutty malt flavors. The hops provide a gentle, pleasant bitterness with an intense floral and citrus aroma.

The Bronx Black Pale Ale | ABV: 5.7% | IBU: 46 | SRM: 57 | OG: 1.060 | FG: 1.017
This Black Pale Ale offers a smooth and complex contrast of dark chocolate and roasted malt flavors with bright and tropical guava, mango and pear hop flavors and aromas.  Three different American malts stand up to generous amounts of West Coast El Dorado and Citra hops in an unfiltered and unpasteurized ale.

The Bronx Belgian Pale Ale | ABV: 6.7% | IBU: 36 | SRM: 4.7
Two strains of Trappist yeast, one Belgian ale yeast, and Belgian candi sugar highlight this remarkably intricate, fruity, spicy, and earthy straw-colored Belgian Pale Ale. Belgian Pilsner and Biscuit malts from Beloeil and German Vienna malts from Bamberg provide a clean backdrop for the spicy and lightly herbal Sterling hops. A votre santé from the Bronx.

DBGB KITCHEN AND BAR
299 Bowery at Houston Street | NYC | 212.933.5300 | www.dbgb.com

DBGB Kitchen and Bar is Chef Daniel Boulud’s downtown place where the French brasserie meets the American tavern. Come for the 14 varieties of house-made sausages and Lyonnais inspired seasonal cooking, alongside mouthwatering burgers and towering shellfish platters. Wash them down with any of the 23 craft beers on tap and a selection of affordable table wines. Interiors take their cue from the Bowery’s history as New York’s industrial restaurant supply neighborhood. Floor to ceiling shelves stocked with the restaurant’s own tools, tableware and dry goods overlook a partially open kitchen. In the bar, the writing is - quite literally - on the wall. Culinary quotes fill the mirrors, providing food for thought to accompany a menu of bar bites.
